An informational meeting on the Peace Village will be held Tuesday evening, Jan. 15.

Parents, community members, students and more are encouraged to attend an informational meeting this Tuesday, Jan. 15, for a planned Peace Village in Forest Grove this summer, hosted by the Rotary Club of Forest Grove.

The Peace Village curriculum "teaches children, youth, and families practical and concrete skills in conflict resolution, empathy, creating inner peace, connecting with the natural world, and collaborative leadership," so that they can use the skills to help address issues faced in our communities.

Those interested in learning more about what it is or how to get involved are encouraged to attend the meeting this Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Forest Grove City Auditorium, 1915 Main Street.

For more information, contact Susan Winterbourne at 503-476-6753 or Susan Taylor at 503-357-8281.
