The first weekend in June has long offered free fishing in Oregon. Oregon State Parks also are free for visitors that weekend, with free parking on the same days and with free camping only on Saturday. There also is free crabbing and clamming at select locations around the state.

ODFW and volunteer fishing instructors, state parks and other partners will host fishing events statewide that weekend, bringing all the gear new anglers need (rods, reels, bait) to try angling.
