The Washington County Sheriff's Office said both the car's driver and motorcyclist were injured.

A crash Monday afternoon, Sept. 2, in the middle of the community of Gales Creek left at least two injured, the Washington County Sheriff's Office said.

The Sheriff's Office reported that a crash had taken place between a car and a motorcycle near the junction of Northwest Gales Creek Road, also signed as Highway 8, and Northwest Old Wilson River Road, near the Gales Creek Country Store.

The car was identified as a Subaru.

Both the Subaru driver and the motorcycle operator were hospitalized. Their condition was not immediately clear.

Motorists are advised to expect delays through the area.
