On Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 28, Washington County Land Use & Transportation closed Northwest 334th Avenue from the dead-end near Killarney West Golf Course to Highway 8, also called Tualatin Valley Highway.

The county also closed Northwest Stringtown Road between Northwest Oppenlander Lane and Northwest Sylvia Lane early Tuesday morning.

Southwest Fern Hill Road between Taylor Way and Southwest Geiger Road near the Fernhill Wetlands Nature Trail has been closed since Friday due to high water.

By Tuesday afternoon, more than two inches of rain fell in 24 hours, according to the National Weather Service. As much as half an inch of rain could fall on Wednesday.

The Tualatin River near Dilley is forecasted to be tenths of an inch away from minor flood stage at its peak Tuesday evening.
