Virtual Incubation Program being offered for entrepreneurs
Oregon Technology Business Center (OTBC) for startups and small businesses is offering a virtual incubation program for entrepreneurs beginning Thursday, April 1.
The virtual incubation program is designed for early-stage entrepreneurs who need information and advice on how to test, develop, and fund their idea so they can take it from concept to the launch of a successful business. The program is an entirely online entrepreneur education and group mentoring experience, with a video curriculum and eight weekly live sessions that help display how to best test your idea, then protect, start and fund your company.
The eight video training modules consist of practical how-to information for entrepreneurs, along with eight weekly interactive online workshops where instructors and participants will discuss how to apply that week's topic directly to your business.
The virtual incubation program is open to all, but the entire eight-week program is being offered at a discounted rate of $79 for Forest Grove residents as the result of a deal brokered between the Beaverton-based OTBC and the Forest Grove city government, from the going rate of $249.
Prospective participants from outside of Forest Grove should contact the OTBC about potential deals available to members of their community.
