Washington County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a report at 3:35 p.m. of a swimmer who'd gone under the water. Upon arrival on the scene, marine deputies were unable to find Satoru Kamoshita, 61, who had been kayaking in the area of Boat Ramp C when he reportedly got off the kayak to swim.

The Lake Oswego Fire Department dive team responded and found Kamoshita's body at approximately 6:20 p.m.
