Cornelius Community Dinner returns
The Cornelius Community Dinner is back after a pandemic pause.
The free turkey holiday meal is 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at Cornelius Elementary School, 200 N. 14th Ave. Reservations are not required.
"We haven't been able to hold our annual community dinner for the past two years and are thrilled to gather our community together once again," Cornelius City Manager Peter Brandom said in a news release. "We are especially grateful to our community partners who give so much to make it happen and the organizers who pull it all together."
The event is a partnership between the Cornelius city government, Centro Cultural de Washington County, and the Washington County Sheriff's Office to serve over 400 meals.
