The Cornelius Public Library will be celebrating Valentine's Day with fun activities for all ages throughout the first half of the month.

All patrons can stop by the library to guess how many hearts are in the guessing jar through Feb. 12. Teens are invited to make zombie Valentines and celebrate the holiday of love with different zombie-related activities. The event will be held at the library at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13. The Cornelius Public Library is located at 1355 N. Barlow St.

Beaverton gallery needs art

Leaders of Art on Broadway Gallery, 12570 S.W. Broadway St., are seeking artists to exhibit their original artwork. There will be an opening beginning in March 2018. They are particularly interested in jewelry and ceramic artists, but 2-D art will also be considered.

Accepted artists are expected to staff the gallery once a month or volunteer in some other way that contributes to running the gallery.

Contracts last six months. There is a $65 per month fee and the gallery takes a 25 percent commission on all sales. Need financial help? Head to the library

The Better Business Bureau will be offering "Adulting 101: Financial Fitness" at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 15, at the Cornelius Public Library, 1355 N. Barlow St. The presentation will cover building budgets and sticking to them.

For those who need assistance with filing taxes, resources at the Forest Grove City Library may be able to help.
