New television series 'The Perfectionists' is slated to film in Forest Grove and Portland.

COURTESY IMAGE - Extras are sought for a new series that will be filming in Forest Grove and Portland. Get famous in Forest Grove? It could happen. A casting call is underway for a new television show, "The Perfectionists," which is a spin-off of the popular Freeform teen drama "Pretty Little Liars."

"Pretty Little Liars" ended a seven-season run in 2017, but "The Perfectionists" will be filming in Forest Grove and Portland in March, and extras are being sought.

"The Perfectionists" is executive-produced by I. Marlene King, who developed "Pretty Little Liars." It is based on a book series by Sara Shepard.

Some characters from "Pretty Little Liars," including Alison (Sasha Pieterse) and Mona (Janel Parrish), will be featured in the series. Sofia Carson, who starred as Evie on Disney Channel's "Descendants," is also cast.

According to A Bit Extra Casting, producers are seeking locals who are primarily in their 20s to fill some background roles, but there will also be roles available for people of all ages. Filming will take place in the Portland and Forest Grove areas March 12 through March 30.

Extras will be paid $11.25 per hour. There is an application process. The link to the application form can be found at
