Dance troupe's 'BloodyVox' puts spin on Halloween, horror genre
It's the spooky season at Hillsboro's Glenn & Viola Walters Cultural Arts Center.
At 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, dance troupe BodyVox will perform "BloodyVox," a special Halloween-style show for ages 10 and up.
Portland-based BodyVox is led by Emmy award-winning choreographers Jamey Hampton and Ashley Roland. Since its founding, the troupe has toured internationally and produced more than 200 original dances.
"BloodyVox" is inspired by Hollywood horror films and promises the suspense any Alfred Hitchcock lover would want.
Tickets for this performance at 527 E. Main St., Hillsboro, are $20 in advance or $25 day of the show. Note: Strobe light effects are used in the opening act.
More information about this performance and the 2019-20 Walters Concert Series is available at on the Walters Cultural Arts Center website. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 503-615-3485, or bought in person.
