The Greyhounds cap Season 2 with an undefeated football season and league volleyball championship.

Gaston outscored their opponents by a total of 175-36.Things couldn't have gone much better for Gaston during Season 2 athletics, as their football team finished an undefeated 2021 season with a 70-14 win over Vernonia, while the Greyhounds' volleyball team capped an 11-2 season with a league championship during the Northwest League playoffs, defeating Columbia Christian in straight sets Saturday, April 10, at Gaston High School.

The Greyhounds football team preceded their finale win over Vernonia with a 28-22 opening game win over Sheridan, then followed that up with three straight shutout wins over Colton, Knappa, and Nestucca. In all, Gaston outscored their opponents 175- 36.

Team members included: Elijah Murial, Forest Burlingham, Jaden Dolan, Brandon Clowdus, Grayson Esteve, Zachariah Glyn, Dylan Tallent, Matt Hutchison, Landon Garner, Andrew Clark, Tristan Still, Jesse Liesegang, Hunter Johnson, Owen Fox, Mathew Keeler Mitchell, Linus Heathershaw, Ben Oliver, Jacob Pzich, Jamieson Martin, Skyler Johnson, Geoffrey Heisler, Alex Wismer, Jaden Clark, Gary Bell, Ian Cooper, John Michael Garner, Isidiro Gomez.

"The girls played as a cohesive unit and it was fun to see them play," Gaston head coach Melody McMasters said after the match. "I'm really proud of these girls and I look forward to the next volleyball season."
