The Tigard Tigers defeat the Mountainside Mavericks 30-13, plus other west side scores.

Tigard (1-2) picked up its first win of the season, defeating Mountainside 30-13 thanks in large part to Konner Grant, who rushed for 180 yards on 24 carries. The Mavericks' (0-3) Mannion threw for 254 yards and two touchdowns in defeat.

Lakeridge (3-0) defeated previously unbeaten Liberty (2-1) 42-13. The Pacers' Jake Reichle accounted for four touchdowns, two rushing, two receiving and one by way of an interception. Falcons quarterback Hiro Diamond threw for 114 yards and rushed for 100, scoring Liberty's sole touchdown.

Sunset (2-1) fell behind state power West Linn (3-0) by 21 points early and never recovered, falling to the Lions 28-14. It was the first loss for the Apollos since the 2019 season after going 6-0 during the spring of this last school year. Hayden Hurley and Padraig Owens scored touchdowns for Sunset.

Banks (2-1) shut out No. 6-ranked Hidden Valley 35-0, rebounding from last week's tough loss to Estacada. The Braves were led by running back Jamar Flippen who rushed for 154 yards. The shutout was the second in three games for Banks this season.

Tyree Blake and Payton Roth paced Jesuit (2-1) in a 20-10 win over host Camas, Washington. Roth rushed for 181 yards and a touchdown, while Blake scored twice from more than 50 yards in the win over the Papermakers.

Tualatin (3-0) made quick work of Aloha (0-3), defeating the home Warriors 43-0. The Timberwolves were playing without standout quarterback Jackson Jones due to injury, but backup Jack Wagner passed for four touchdowns in his absence.

North Medford totaled 354 yards and Seth Glenn scored on three touchdown runs to help defeat Sherwood (0-3) 28-21. The Bowmen trailed 28-7 late in the third quarter before pulling close with two fourth quarter scores.

For Westview (3-0), Sam Leavitt completed 11 of 18 pass attempts for 263 yards and five touchdowns in a 55-7 win over Century (0-3). Standout Wildcats receiver Darrius Clemons caught five balls for 138 yards and three touchdowns.

Southridge fell to Roseburg 34-12.

Gaston improved to 3-1 when Vernonia was forced to forfeit.

Hillsboro (1-3) fell to Centennial 32-18 after its game with St. Helens was forfeited.
