Some of Washington County's best wrestlers joined teams from Oregon and Washington Dec. 10-11 at Westview High.

While an undoubtedly strong field, which included nine of the 6A and 5A classification's top-10 teams, along with Oregon's top-ranked 4A and No. 4-ranked 3A teams, plus three of Washington's wrestling powers, it was Newberg that reigned supreme.

The Tigers placed 14 of their 22 wrestlers in the semifinals and nine in the finals en route to 473 points and an impressive tournament win.
