If you're seeking COVID-19 vaccination, things just got a whole lot easier.

All Walmart pharmacies in Oregon will begin scheduling COVID-19 vaccines in partnership with the state, beginning March 10. As appointments become available, they will appear in the Walmart scheduler at While supplies last, vaccines will be available to those who meet the current phase of vaccine eligibility in Oregon, which can be found at

"Ninety percent of the country lives within 10 miles of a Walmart. We're committed to helping people live better — and healthier lives — in Oregon, and we take that role very seriously," said Dr. Cheryl Pegus, Walmart's executive vice president of Health & Wellness. "We want to help the country reopen, but we can only achieve that through widespread COVID-19 vaccination. We're proud to work together with the federal government, states, communities, customers and associates to expand access to the vaccine and reach that goal."

In addition to appointments, the Walmart scheduler will provide a digital reminder regarding a second vaccine shot as part of the customer profile created upon registration. The goal is to help ensure customers receive the second dose of the vaccine in the timeframe required.

Appointments are available seven days per week, but exact timing will vary based on local availability of the vaccine.

There are Walmart stores in Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, Cornelius and Sherwood.

As of Monday, March 8, there had been a total of 1,163,828 doses of the coronavirus vaccine administered in Oregon out of the 1,420,125 doses that had been delivered to sites throughout the state.

According to the Oregon Health Authority, a little more than 410,000 Oregonians have been fully vaccinated.
