While millions of Americans are watching the Super Bowl football game on February 3, other diehard fans will tune into Puppy Bowl XV at 3 p.m. ET on the Animal Planet

Channel. This year more than 90 rescue puppies from 51 shelters across the country will compete on either Team Ruff or Team Fluff.

Each puppy has the chance to win the Most Valuable Puppy (MVP) Award. And, there will be bunny cheerleaders

and the Kitty Bowl Half Time show.

There are also special needs puppies playing this year as well, including a blind and hearing impaired pup, and a three-legged puppy. Most of the puppies will have been adopted and the show was actually filmed in October with plenty of breaks and a veterinarian on hand for safety. The show's producers and sponsors encourage the audience to visit their local shelter and adopt a rescue pet.

"Rufferee" Dan Schachner will once again call the shots on the field, along with his trusty co-ref Shirley the rescue sloth. Shirley will bring backup — baby sloths from Costa Rica's Toucan Rescue Ranch sanctuary — to help her make calls. Capybaras, baby porcupines and baby kangaroos are all slated to appear on the sidelines as well this year, according to People Magazine.

Nature's Pet Market encourages the adoption of rescue

animals and can help with all your new forever friend's

needs. From beds to toys and treats to calming remedies,

Nature's Pet has everything you need to get your new pet

off to a good start.
