How to Help
This is a tough time in western Oregon. A pandemic wreaking havoc on the economy and life in general and now fires destroying homes and businesses and endangering our health with all the smoke. While some of us have been able to weather the storm, there are folks out there that need our help. Below is a list of places that you can contact to help our neighbors.
The Salvation Army supports responders, evacuees and survivors with food, hydration, emotional support and more. Donate at give-usw.salvationarmy.org/give.
Local fire departments have requested that you do not bring donations to them, but to donate to the American Red Cross. The website is redcross.org/local/Oregon/about-us/locations/northwest-oregon-chapter.html or call 503-284-1234. The Red Cross always needs volunteers as well as donations.
If you need help, want to donate or volunteer the Oregon Wildfire Resources page at wildfire.oregon.gov has news, resources like lists of lodging and packing checklists, links to let relatives know you are safe and more.
Everyone needs help at some point. If you are experiencing a crisis or feel overwhelmed the Multnomah County Crisis Line at 503-988-4888 and the Clackamas County Crisis line at 503-655-8585 can help.
Weston Kia is part of the community and supports efforts to help our neighbors. We are there to help you with all your vehicle needs from sales to repair. We care, we are doing everything we can and we are open. Visit our website at westonkia.com.
