Since Kia introduced its first ever EV, the Besta, in 1988, the company has continued to lead the way with its alternative fuel vehicles, including the 2022 EV6 and hybrid and EV models of both the Sorento and the Niro models.

Plan S is Kia's program to develop 11 new EVs by 2025. The S in Plan S stands for shift. Kia will shift from a business system based on internal combustion engine vehicle toward one centered on electric vehicles and customized mobility solutions. Kia is investing 25 billion dollars to develop sustainable environmentally conscious transportation and production.

The new 2022 EV6 is built on Kia's revolutionary electric platform, with a futuristic design. The EV 6 has up to 330 miles of range on a single charge. The ultra-fast charging adds up to 210 miles range in as little as 18 minutes and accelerates from 0 to 60 in four to six seconds. All of this with the spaciousness of a five-passenger crossover and Kia's Augmented Reality Head Up Display. The head-up display (HUD) shows key safety information and route guidance in augmented reality, which provides additional information to help keep your eyes focused on the road. A blue light filter reduces eye strain, you can connect to your Apple Watch and all this comes in 24 inches of curved display.
