Sometimes the "normal, run-of-the-mill vacation destinations are not what you want. White Sand beaches and national parks are great, but sometimes you may want a little of the unusual to pique your sense of curiosity. Consider unique locations - some off-beat trips to consider may be:

Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, Hawaii - Great for some edgier photos! You can still soak up the rays and drink mai tais.

Winchester Mystery House, California - An eclectic meandering house with 160 rooms located in San Jose, California that will give you a case of the heebie-jeebies. Mrs. Sarah Winchester lives on in legend and the mansion she built is world renowned for the many design curiosities and innovations (many ahead of their time) as it is for the reported paranormal activity that resides within the walls.

Fly Geyser, Nevada - A manmade geyser in Nevada that's one of the most colorful places in the USA. Located on Fly Ranch, a 3,800-acre parcel of land in northern Nevada purchased by the Burning Man Project in 2016. It is an amazing site that is located about two hours north of Reno, on the edge of the Nevada Black Rock Desert. Experience a three-hour guided walking tour of the geyser and surrounding environment all year.

These are just a few of the unusual places in the USA to experience. For more ideas and adventures call your local travel professional at CP Trips, Inc. 503-658-5646
