Now that the weather is so nice, pack up the family, a picnic and take a day trip in your Kia.

There are 2 great museums in Gresham itself, ideal for a quick trip or as part of a longer journey. Learn all about Gresham's history at the Gresham History Museum in the 1913 Carnegie Library. The Zimmerman House Museum is an 1874 farmhouse full of artifacts from Gresham's pioneer days.

After the museum spend some of that pent up energy at Oxbow Regional Park in Gresham. You can picnic near the river in one of the closest old-growth Forests to Gresham. There are 12 miles of hiking trails from gentle to steep for all ages or you can float the river in a tube and even camp. Check for more information.

Less than 6 miles further down the Columbia River Highway is Wahkeena Falls. Less crowded and closer than Multnomah Falls. For more information, check the website before you go.

The entire Columbia River Gorge has many places for the family to get out and experience some nature. From Multnomah Falls to Hogan Butte Nature Park, which is just minutes away from Gresham, to Powell Butte Nature Park, an extinct volcano and the second largest park the Portland area, your family will enjoy the beauty in our area.

So hit the road in your Kia from Weston Kia, where Everyone Wins and see what there is to see near Gresham.
