MORE STORIES

Mustangs and kids are a beautiful thing and there's a group of men and women that love their cars, but they love their community even more. The Mt Hood Mustangs & Fords Car Club does a whole lot for the kids and others in our community!

And here's just some of the ways they give back. Boy Scout Cruise in Vancouver, benefiting the boy scouts, Cruise the College awarding scholarships to the Ford ASSET program at Mt Hood Community College, sponsoring the golf tournament for My Father's House just to name a few. They also benefit Veterans and a number of other local organizations. And most recently, they rounded up a bunch of backpacks full of school supplies to help our kids be prepared for the coming school year.

And on that note, Operation Backpack was a huge success. 378 backpacks, filled with much needed school supplies, largely in part to the amazing partnership with Office Depot and their caring staff, were collected at the Mt Hood Mustangs & Fords car show just a couple of weekends ago!

Those ponies just keep running! If you'd like to keep up with where they'll be next, go to their website at mhmf.com and click on their calendar or drop by Gresham Ford the first Thursday of every month at 7pm for their monthly meeting and get acquainted with these awesome folks!

And speaking of back to school, Ford Motor Company has an incredible offer to all our educators, be they office staff or history teachers, custodians or traffic attendants, they're all important to the well being and instructing of our kids and Ford recognizes that and wants to honor them with $1,000 towards the purchase or lease of any 2019/2020 model New Ford vehicle. So, if you are an educator/employee of our schools, or you know someone who is, come into Gresham Ford or give us a call for details at 503-665-0101.
