MORE STORIES

Tis the season, joy and holy jolly everywhere! So much to do, so much to see! A season of Thanks and giving all around! So, lets add one more amazing 'must see' to your list!

Eastside Theater Company, formerly known as Corbett Children's Theater, began as an after-school arts program for the Corbett School District. In June of 1998 in Susan Scott's backyard, the fledgling group worked with the local school district to provide a fun and educational performing arts experience for students in East Multnomah County.

Within a few years, they were working closely with the school district and were granted access to the Springdale School building for storage, rehearsal space, and eventually a performance venue.

In July of 2017, Corbett Children's Theater officially changed its name to Eastside Theater Company signaling the investment to East Multnomah and Clackamas counties and surrounding communities.

Now for the "must see" part! Throughout the month of November, they have been performing an adaptation of Disney's Frozen! If you've been privileged enough to have seen it already, then tell your friends and family or anyone that you know that hasn't seen it, that there are only a few more showings, tonight, tomorrow and Sunday at Springwater Church, 3445 SE Hillyard Rd, Gresham. Go to www.eastsidetheater.com for times and to purchase tickets!

And while you're at it, they are participating in our Fill-A-Bag Food drive for SnowCap by selling 50/50 raffle tickets, with half going to SnowCap! The winner of the other half will be drawn at the Sunday, November 17th showing so you don't want to miss it! To buy your tickets to enter and help them support SnowCap, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.!

So, as they say, "On with the Show"!
