As many of you may know, Ford Motor Company has gone the way of aluminum in an effort to be proactive in doing their part for the environment. Not only is this product lighter and stronger, but it's also proven more sustainable and higher performing than the preceding steel options.

As written by Lauren Wilk, Vice President for the Aluminum Association, "The Automotive Science Group's July 2019 study found the light-weight aluminum design on the Ford F-150 led the full-size truck competition in all performance areas, and holds the smallest life-cycle carbon footprint of any full-size truck in North America."

Needless to say, we're pretty darn proud of our company and the strides it's made to diminish the environmental impact of our products. We can offer the best and present them with confidence that the generations to come will have a cleaner, more sustainable life because we cared!

As confirmed by the EPA, "When compared with both traditional and advanced steels in the areas of cumulative energy demand, potential ozone depletion and other likely factors in climate change-aluminum rises to the top as the best choice for the environment."

We know you have a choice when it comes to a vehicle purchase and we understand that it's a huge decision and being informed is part of that decision. So, take it for what's it worth! Ford is a good choice and we can stand behind that claim!

That being said, when you do go out to make a purchase of any kind, try your local options first! Keeping our dollars local saves our jobs, our schools and our community!

Take the example of aluminum; lifting each other up makes us lighter and stronger! Lift a local business today by choosing to shop local!
