MORE STORIES

This is a year where everything is different, so that includes Fill-A-Bag. Yes, we need to fill lots of bags and barrels because the need is great but how we do it is going to be a little different!

The giving and filling begin on FRIDAY – NOVEMBER 6th at Gresham Ford, we are having a "Drive Thru – Drop Off". The first of several in our community. However, the great news is everyone can participate and there are some yummy reasons to do so:

• Drive thru and drop off canned goods or other supplies for Snow Cap between 8 – 9 a.m. and you will receive a free pancake breakfast to go from Chris Cakes Northwest. All tips go to SnowCap.

• Drive thru and drop off canned goods or other supplies for SnowCap between 8-9 a.m. and you will receive a free cup of coffee to go from Intent Coffee. All tips go to SnowCap.

• Drive thru and drop off canned goods or other supplies all day long from 9:30 a.m-6p.m. and you will receive a free raffle ticket (ask for Cathy) with an opportunity to win a gift certificate for $250 from Gresham Ford.

We want to fill a couple big trucks with food and supplies for SnowCap, so please join us in this effort. We would love to serve you a FREE pancake breakfast! As I stated earlier this is one of several "Drive Thru – Drop Off" events. We will keep you updated on others or you can follow them on Facebook at "Fill-A-Bag".

As you can imagine this year presents a huge challenge for SnowCap to provide for the needs of those that have lost jobs or had their hours cut because of Covid. In an effort to be practical they are not having their normal toy drives and such but are asking the community to supply those they serve with not only non-perishable food items but other items like shampoo, toilet paper, dish soap, toothbrushes, hand warmers, hats/gloves. Let's have a simple practical Holiday Season and make sure all of our neighbors are not in need! Looking forward to waving to you as you drive thru and drop off and get your breakfast!
