It is sweet to give -literally -on Thursday, December 3rd from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Riverview Community Bank (225 NE Burnside) will be hosting a 'Drive-Thru/Drop Off' for SnowCap Community Charities Fill-A-Bag program.

They are partnering with our favorite, sweetest candy store in Historic Downtown Gresham - iCandy! So, this is one of those Win-Win-Win propositions (first 100 people dropping off). You drive by and drop off some canned goods for SnowCap, the local food pantry who takes care of our neighbors during these difficult days when people's employment and jobs are being affected with layoffs, shorter hours or less sales. Yes, you give to SnowCap and then Riverview Community Bank and iCandy give you a Christmas Pack with some goodies, a $5 gift card to iCandy and more.

So, you make lots of people smile! Casey, Brenda, Brian and all the great staff at Riverview Community Bank will be smiling because they just want to help SnowCap. The folks at SnowCap will be smiling because they need a little extra this holiday season to help the folks they serve, and your family will be smiling all the way to iCandy and back as you can use that five dollar gift certificate to buy the "best Carmel Corn" on the planet! Yes, it's true! it is "THE BEST"!!

Our Community owes a big debt of gratitude to Riverview Community Bank for bringing Fill-A-Bag to East County. This is truly a testimony that one person can make a huge difference. Casey Ryan, due to your passion to help others, tens of thousands of people have benefited from the funds and food collected by Fill-A-Bag. Yes, many people have jumped on board, but you were the spark that ignited a community into action!

So, please pay it forward tomorrow and "Drive Thru and Drop Off" it will make your heart smile! And we all need to feel more smiles when we can't see your smiles!
