$300,000 in cash, 200 pounds of pot seized

Portland police are looking for a father and son allegedly involved in illicit drug operations. Matthew Parker, 42, and his son, Dryson Parker, 19 are being sought in connection with a raid on the elder Parker's home prompted by an earlier arrest at the Portland airport.

During the raid at the home in the 3800 block of Northeast View Place in Gresham, police seized about $300,000 in cash, 212 pounds of processed marijuana, three Super Bowl XLVII tickets, a 2003 Hummer, a 2002 Cadillac Escalade, an 80-inch television, $3,805 in Euros, a 47-inch television and a large amount of marijuana growing equipment. Police also seized approximately $25,000 from bank accounts belonging to Matthew Parker.

The raid is the result of an investigation that began Jan. 24 when Kao Cho Saechao was arrested at Portland International Airport when $49,000 in cash was found in Saechao's luggage. At a subsequent search of Saechao's residence in southeast Portland, police found $2,900 in cash, a small amount of steroids, about 12 pounds of marijuana, four rifles and two handguns.
