Participants, volunteers, spectators and others are invited to share their recollections and personal experiences with the Hood to Coast Relay for an yet-to-be-published book about the event.
Historians Marc B. Spiegel and Art Garner are compiling remembrances for their upcoming book, "Hood to Coast Memories, An Oral History of the Mother of All Relays."
The authors are seeking a variety of stories, which will highlight everything from running the relay to preparing for the event to volunteering.
Share the origin of your team name, family traditions surrounding the race or other unique experience — did you get married (or proposed to) during the race?
Send your personal memories with the authors through the book's website at www.hoodtocoastmemories.com.
