NEWS BRIEFS: Centennial High choir sings at the Grotto
The Centennial High School Concert Choir will perform at The Grotto's 30th annual Christmas Festival of Lights at 9 p.m. Friday Dec. 1.
In addition to the choir concerts the Festival of Lights also features outdoor caroling, puppet shows and a petting zoo.
Tickets to the popular light display and entertainment venue are $11 for adults, $10 military and those 65 and older, $6 for children ages 3-12 and free for children 2 and younger.
The Grotto encourages people to bring a donation of nonperishable food for Gresham's SnowCap Community Charities.

Gresham Community Choir to perform
The Gresham Community Choir, directed by Annette Steele, will sing its Christmas concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, at Reynolds High School, 1698 S.W. Cherry Park Road, Troutdale. Rumor has it that the Jolly Old Elf and his missus will make an appearance.
Admission to the concert is free. But the choir encourages everyone to bring canned food, which will be donated to the nonprofit group Lift-Urban, which serves low-income people.
