Portland resident Thomas Henry Graham, 21, faces nine charges after he ran from police.

POLICE PHOTO - Thomas Henry Graham Thomas Henry Graham and a friend were pulled over near the corner of Southeast 162nd Avenue and Stark Street on Saturday, March 10, according to a report by KOIN 6 News, The Outlook's media partner.

Graham and the other man ran from the vehicle, sparking a short foot chase. The other person — described as a tall and thin black man in his late teens or early 20s — managed to elude police.

Police say they recovered three handguns from the vehicle and another gun that was ditched in the street by the suspect who escaped.

Graham has been arrested under suspicion of three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, three counts of felon in possession of a firearm and one count each of delivery of cocaine, interference with a police officer and attempt to elude on foot.

Graham is currently incarcerated at the Multnomah County Detention Center in downtown Portland, booking records indicate.
