COURTESY GOOGLE MAPS - The Plaid Pantry located at 16226 S.E. Division Street.Two men robbed a convenience store at gunpoint Tuesday night, April 10, in the 16000 block of Southeast Division Street.

At 1:59 a.m. Portland Police Bureau East Precinct officers responded to the Plaid Pantry, 16226 S.E. Division St. They learned two men entered the store and demanded money while one brandished a handgun.

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash and other items, the suspects left without incident.

Officers searched the neighborhood but did not locate anyone matching the descriptions. One of the men was described as in his 20s, 5-feet-8 with a thin build. The other was described as in his 20s, 5-feet-9 with a thin build.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon offers cash rewards for information that leads to an arrest. Tipsters can remain anonymous. Share information on the robbery at for a reward of up to $1,000.

Nadaka schedules bird, nature walk

Discover some of the bird species that call East Multnomah County home during a free, family friendly guided nature walk.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 28, at Nadaka Nature Park, 17615 N.E. Glisan St. It is open to both beginners and advanced bird watchers. Bring binoculars if you have them, otherwise there are some to borrow. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.
