MHCC students will show off their computer games, teens can learn digital design at Rockwood Library

Mt. Hood Community College's computer game developer students will show off their work in everything from virtual reality games to digital art at the Wacom Experience Center, 1455 N.W. Irving St., Portland, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 10.

This annual exhibit allows students to display their work from the last year and network with industry professionals.

Teens learn digital design at library

Kids in grades six through 12 can learn the basics of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Inkscape and then use the Rockwood Library's makerspace's craft cutters or laser cutters to create cool designs out of paper, wood, fabric and vinyl.

The free workshop runs from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Rockwood Library, 17917 S.E. Stark St. Call 503-988-5123 for more information.
