ARRESTS

-- Silverio Molina, 58, Portland, was arrested at 10:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, near the intersection of Northeast Division Street and North Main Avenue for driving while suspended.

-- Eduardo Sanchez Flores, 25, Lebanon, was arrested at 11:14 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, in the 900 block of Southeast 221st Avenue for two counts of reckless endangerment.

-- At 4:17 a.m. Thursday, May 3, Cody Wayne Delaplaine, 28, transient, was arrested in the 1900 block of Northwest 17th Street for alleged unauthorized use of a vehicle, reckless driving, interfering with a police officer, attempting to elude on foot, attempting to elude while driving and a pair of warrants.

-- At 12:22 p.m. Thursday, May 3, Coty Shatka Hammond, 26, transient, was arrested at the corner of Northeast Glisan Street and Northeast 176th Avenue for possession of methamphetamine. Police said he was found with 2.30 grams of meth.

-- Paul Robert Fleischman, 54, Gresham, was arrested at 1:05 p.m. Thursday, May 3, near the intersection of Northeast Division Street and Northeast Cleveland Avenue for driving while under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.

-- Steven James Jones, 26, Gresham, was arrested at 4:40 p.m. Thursday, May 3, in the 17700 block of Southeast Harrison Street for menacing and a pair of warrants.

-- Dirk Loren Boyle, 26, transient, was arrested at 7:43 a.m. Friday, May 4, after robbing Casa Jalisco Tequila Bar, 18836 S.E. Stark St. Boyle faces charges of second-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief and possession of methamphetamine. According to the report, he caused $200 of damage during the burglary and was found with 0.65 grams of meth.

-- At 10:50 a.m. Friday, May 4, Tommesha Deann Tirado, 31, transient, was arrested near the corner of Southeast Stark Street and East Burnside Street on a warrant and possession of methamphetamine. Police said Tirado was found with four dosage units of meth.

-- Sierra Cheyenne Harrison, 25, transient, was arrested at 2:56 p.m. Friday, May 4, after officers were able to use spiked strips near the intersection of Northeast Division Street and Northeast Linden Avenue to make the arrest without incident. Harrison faces a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle.

-- At 10:31 p.m. Friday, May 4, James Arthur Bitz, 52, Gresham, was arrested in the 150 block of Southeast Hogan Road for alleged assault with a M-11 pistol, felon in possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon.

-- At 11:45 p.m. Friday, May 4, Corey Louis Johnson, 21, Gresham, was arrested in the 3100 block of Northeast 23rd Street for unauthorized use of a vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle and driving with a suspended or revoked license. According to the report, Johnson said he didn't steal the Honda, and that he got the car earlier in the day from his uncle who allegedly knows how to steal cars.

MISCELLANEOUS

-- Gresham police began a death investigation at 7:57 a.m. Thursday, May 3, in the 19500 block of Northeast Holladay Street.

-- At 6:14 p.m. Friday, May 4, officers recovered a Gresham resident's stolen Subaru Legacy, which was abandoned near the intersection of Northeast Rene Avenue and Northeast 25th Court.

-- Gresham officers located another stolen car at 8:43 p.m. Friday, May 4, that was abandoned on Northeast 170th Way at Northeast Couch Street. The silver Toyota Echowith was returned to the owner who lives in Roseburg.

THEFTS

-- A Gresham resident reported at 2:37 a.m. Thursday, May 3, that their purse had been stolen from the 2200 block of Southeast 182nd Ave. In addition to the purse, which was valued at $30, identification documents and a camera were also taken.

-- At 5:10 p.m. Thursday, May 3, a Gresham woman reported that she had been scammed with counterfeit money during an OfferUp sale in the parking lot of Lydia's, 18330 E. Burnside St. The man purchased her Samsung cellphone and watch, totaling $420, using the fake money. The man who gave the counterfeit bills used the name Taylor Thomas, and a profile picture of a cat, on OfferUp. He was described to be between 18 and 21 years old, about 5-foot 8-inches tall, with short blond hair.

-- At 12:21 a.m. Friday, May 4, a Gresham resident reported their 1997 purple Honda Civic Hatchback had been stolen in the 1500 block of Northeast Division St.

-- At 6:35 a.m. Friday, May 4, a car parked on Northeast 196th Avenue was broken into. Taken were $30 of household goods and $350 of vehicle parts.

-- At 8:43 a.m. Friday, May 4, Dotty's, 901 S.W. Highland Drive, reported that someone had stolen $70 of gambling equipment.

-- At 12:18 p.m. Friday, May 4, GPEC Inc., 9155 S.W. Laughter Lane, reported that two vehicles had been stolen. The total value is estimated to be $67,000.

VANDALISM

-- A Gresham resident reported at 10:23 p.m. Thursday, May 3, that their car had been vandalized while parked on Southeast 188th Avenue. The damage was estimated to be $1,400.
