Big and little pirates alike are welcome to join a family festival all about adventure and groundwater.
The Aquifer Adventure will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Columbia Slough, Airport Way and Northeast 166th Avenue. The free family event will feature a scavenger hunt in search of hidden treasure.
There will also be canoe rides, games and free T-shirts for the first 300 kids who arrive.
