Hundreds flocked to CityFest Saturday afternoon, Sept. 8, for interactive activities from all of the city departments.

The most popular were the Gresham Police Department and Fire and Emergency Services. The police had mini ride-alongs, K-9 Officer Cash, and a chance for kids to try on a bulletproof vest.

Fire personnel gave tours of their engines, distributed fire hats and sticker badges, and demonstrated how they save citizens in danger.

The festival had live music, and local food and treats from Bent Whisker Sandwich Co., Tortilleria Y Tienda De Leon and Kona ICE.
