Class imparts care for aging relatives
A free one-day class will teach caregivers how to improve medication safety for older adults from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 14, at Troutdale Holiday Inn Express, 477 N.W. Phoenix Drive.
Understanding Medication Use in Older Adults: Care Team Principles is designed to help anyone who cares for an aging Oregonian learn about improvement strategies and medication safety in a care setting.
The class will be hosted by Oregon Care Partners and funded by the state of Oregon, Alzheimer's Association and Oregon Health Care Association.
