Moon has received 1,964 votes in the contested three-way race for Troutdale City Council Position 5, defeating Paul Wilcox with 1,893 votes and Deb Reuter with 1,183.

Nick Moon, owner of a production studio in Troutdale, has won by a slim margin in his election bid for Troutdale City Council. Moon faced challenges for the seat by Paul Wilcox and Deb Reuter.

Moon received 1,964 votes to Wilcox's 1,893, and Reuter trailed with 1,183 votes, according to the latest election results. Moon received 38.43 percent of the vote. Wilcox received 37.05 percent, and Reuter received 23.15 percent of the vote.

Wilcox is a retired commercial truck driver. He has attended nearly every Troutdale council meeting since moving to the city approximately 12 years ago.

Reuter declined to comment about the results.

Moon owns Tone Proper AV, where he masters analog music projects and does audio consulting for large music venues.

Reuter worked as a channel development manager for Dr. Bott, an Apple accessories distributor, and worked in sales for clothing store Jones New York.
