Council veteran will be seated for another term on the Troutdale City Council.

Incumbent David Ripma was re-elected to Troutdale City Council Position 1 on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Ripma has served on the council for more than 20 years. He has been a Troutdale resident for 29 years. In 2006, Ripma was named Troutdale's Citizen of the Year.

Ripma is a patent attorney for Sharp Labs of America in Camas, Wash. He has served on the Oregon Hanford Cleanup Board since 2008.
