Newcomer elected to Troutdale council
Jamie Kranz was elected to the Troutdale City Council Position 3 on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
According to early election returns released shortly after 8 p.m., Kranz received 2,670 votes, or 97 percent of the vote.
Kranz will replace Larry Morgan, who did not file for re-election.
Kranz is a stay-at-home parent who has volunteered on various Troutdale boards including the planning commission, budget and town center committees.
She holds a bachelor's degree from Portland State University in finance. She has lived in Troutdale for 17 years.
