Gresham police closed the road in both directions while PGE crews replaced the pole.

A woman drove her vehicle into a Portland General Electric (PGE) power pole at the intersection of Northeast Halsey at 172nd Avenue around 4 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2. — causing low hanging wires, according to Gresham police.

Police closed the road in both directions while PGE crews replaced the pole, according to a KOIN 6 News report.

Authorities later found the driver, Audreyana Ballestrem, 29, away from the crash scene. KOIN 6  - A car hit a pole on Wednesday in Gresham.

She was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries and cited for hit-and-run and criminal mischief.
