The movement, CupidCrew, has teams visit seniors to deliver roses and strike up conversations.

A group is spreading cheer this Valentine's Day to local seniors, on what otherwise could be a lonely and difficult holiday.

The movement, #CupidCrew, has teams visit seniors to deliver roses and strike up conversations. The East Multnomah County sponsor this year is Courtyard Fountains Senior Living, 1545 S.E. 223rd Ave., where the crew will deliver 200 roses to the residents.

Anyone interested in supporting #CupidCrew can donate $1 to the movement through the nonprofit organization Wish of a Lifetime by Feb. 14. Contributions are used to combat senior isolation.
