Gresham is recruiting a resident to serve as the liaison to the Mt. Hood Cable Regulatory Commission

The city of Gresham is recruiting a local resident to serve as the liaison to the Mt. Hood Cable Regulatory Commission (MHCRC).

The MHCRC generally meets six times per year and does not meet in July or August. The commission advocates for and protects interest in the regulation and development of cable communications systems in Multnomah County and the cities of Fairview, Gresham, Portland, Troutdale and Wood Village.

The responsibilities include financial oversight of the

MHCRC, attending monthly meetings, participating on at least two committees, providing reports and acting as a liaison to the Gresham City Council and keeping informed on issues related to MHCRC activities.
