Construction work to affect traffic on Cochran Road
Portland General Electric is replacing a culvert at Cochran Road near Beaver Creek in Troutdale with a 60-foot long bridge. Work is scheduled from Thursday, March 14, to Friday, March 15.
The project will require single-lane closures each day, and flaggers will be directing traffic during construction.
The existing culvert prevents the upstream migration of salmon and other fish species. The new bridge will be built with a widened cross-section, larger traffic lanes, wider shoulders, bike lanes and new sidewalks.
