Spruce up trails for Lilac run
The city of Gresham is calling for volunteers to help with some spring cleaning before the inaugural Gresham Lilac Run on Saturday, April 13.
Participants will gather at Main City Park to clean up parts of the Spring Water Corridor, Saddle Butte and Butler Creek Trails before the run, which snakes along those routes.
Those interested should meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at the big red barn in Main City Park, 219 S. Main Ave. There will be hot coffee and a brief information session, before the volunteers will split into teams to take on different portions of the trail. Trash bags, gloves and trash pickers will be provided.
