Rock climber suffers non-life threatening injuries after falling while rock climbing.

A rock climber at Lewis and Clark State Park in Troutdale fell approximately 25 feet, hitting his head on the rock wall on Sunday, March 24.

The climber, who was wearing a helmet, was lowered to the ground by other people in the climbing party and then treated by a nurse who just happened to be in the area, according to KOIN 6 News, an Outlook media partner. The man was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Crews from the Corbett Fire District, American Medical Response, and the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office responded to the incident.
