'A Grave Wonder' follows one man's quest for immortality in the Portland and Gresham area

COURTESY PHOTO - A Grave Wonder, written by Gresham resident Caz Zyvatkauskas.A Gresham resident known for her nature photography has released a novel that follows one man's quest for immortality — and anyone looking for a good read will be able to pick it up through the Multnomah County Library's e-book system.

"A Grave Wonder," written by Caz Zyvatkauskas, is being featured by the Multnomah County Library Writers Project. Starting in April, library members can download the e-book at www.multcolib.org/e-books-and-more. You can also purchase the novel for $1.99 at www.smashwords.com/books/view/903411.

Set in Portland and Gresham, the satire weaves tombs, trailer parks, libraries and long-lost relatives into a dark romp. While scouring the cemetery for items to hawk at the pawn shop, Jimmy Tumbler has a near-death experience that puts him on a path for immortality. Helping in his mission is researcher and volunteer headstone cleaner, Maryann.
