Multnomah County is recruiting members for its Bicycle and Pedestrian Citizen Advisory Committee.

The board advises the county's Transportation Division on transportation policy, planning and capital projects.

Preference will be given for applicants who live in East Multnomah County or in unincorporated rural areas of the county.

Members serve a two-year term, and attend monthly meetings held at 6:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the Multnomah Building, 501 S.E. Hawthorne Blvd., Portland.

For consideration, candidates must submit an application by May 20.
