The Gresham Police Department is asking for help to solve a four-year-old murder. On May 11, 2015, medical personnel were called to a home on Northwest Seventh Place and found Erick Austin Carnegie, 25, deceased of an apparent gun shot.

A witness reported that as Carnegie walked up to the front door, two people approached him from behind and forced him inside, where there was a medical marijuana growing operation. After a shooting, both suspects immediately ran to a nearby vehicle.

The suspects are described as:

  • A black male in his mid-20s, light-skinned, 6 feet tall, with a skinny build, wearing a dark-colored hoody, bandana covering his face, and black shoes, armed with a handgun.

  • A black male, of unknown age, dark-skinned, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 160 to 170 pounds, goatee, 2-inch Afro hairstyle, wearing a burgundy sweatshirt, armed with a Taser.
