The 66th annual Gresham Rotary Steak Fry is going to be bigger and better than ever

The 66th annual Gresham Rotary Steak Fry is going to be bigger and better than ever, as the group is combining the popular dinner with another of its main fundraisers.

From 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, enjoy a delicious meal headlined by perfectly grilled steaks, a raffle with prizes (including a grill), a 50/50 raffle, and between 75 and 100 bottles given out through a Wine Raffle.

The Steak Fry supports scholarships for local graduating high school seniors who plan on attending Mt. Hood Community College. The money also supports sending underprivileged kids to summer camp at YMCA Camp Collins.

"The money we make helps kids in need of a scholarship in our community," said David Ligatich, a Rotarian helming the Steak Fry. "Everything stays local and the hope is the kids will get their education and stay in the community."

The family-friendly event costs $20 per person, and children 12 can eat a free hamburger or hot dog. The event takes place at Mt. Hood Community College in the Vista Dining Room.

There are several ways to get tickets. You can reach out to any Gresham Rotarian who can get you tickets, or visit www.rotarysteakfry.com.
