Gresham mayor Shane Bemis hits the road
Gresham Mayor Shane Bemis is taking a ride with a few of the people working to make the community a better place for his 2019 State of the City address.
Bemis will engage in 10 casual, unscripted conversations as he travels across the city. The topics range from parks, streets, homelessness and more. The videos began Tuesday, Dec. 3, and will continue through Dec. 13.
The first chat was with Lynn Snodgrass, CEO of the Gresham Area Chamber of Commerce, about business in the city. The other discussions that already have taken place are with the local superintendents; Josh Fuhrer, Urban Renewal executive director; and Aaron Sando and Kevin Dahlgren with the Homeless Services Team.
There are a couple of places to tune in and listen to the mayor's chats, including the ones that have already taken place. Visit the city website, GreshamOregon.gov/SOTC or the city YouTube channel, youtube.com/cityofgreshamoregon.
