Multnomah County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Troutdale man early Thursday morning after responding to a domestic disturbance report at a home on South Troutdale Road.
Deputies arrived at the home around 3:25 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, and found a woman in the home with several injuries. The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Because of the nature of the incident, MCSO detectives responded to the scene.
The suspect, Jonathan Baldridge, 48, of Troudale, left the home before deputies arrived and searched the area for him, the sheriff's office said. At about 11:33 a.m., deputies located Baldridge and took him into custody not far from the home. He was arrested and booked on accusations of first-degree rape, attempted unlawful penetration, strangulation, domestic violence and fourth-degree felony assault constituting domestic violence.
The investigation is ongoing and no further details can be released at this time, the sheriff's office said.
