Man stole merchandise from Good Neighbor Market, punched employee on June 16

COURTESY PHOTO: GRESHAM POLICE DEPARTMENT - Security footage showed a man steal from Good Neighbor Market, punch employee.The Gresham Police Department is looking for help in identifying a robber who stole from a market and punched an employee.

Around 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Good Neighbor Market, 491 S.E. 162nd Ave. The suspect jumped over the counter and began filling his backpack with merchandise while harming the employee on duty.

The unidentified suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late teens or early twenties, medium height with a slim build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a "Riot Society" logo on the back of a skull, with a skeleton hand pouring a bottle of beer with the saying "One for the homies."

Witnesses said he rode away on a bicycle toward the area of Southeast 160th Avenue and Southeast Alder Street.
